I'm Jeff Bell, a REALTOR® with Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, based in the company's Dexter, Michigan office.

I've been licensed in real estate for 19 years, but my connection to Washtenaw County goes back much further.

I'm originally from Ann Arbor and have lived in Dexter since 2012. I've watched these communities grow and change not only as a real estate professional, but also as someone who calls this area home.

Real Estate Experience Beyond Buying and Selling

My real estate background also includes leadership.

I previously served as manager of both the Howard Hanna Dexter and Chelsea offices.

Managing real estate offices gave me a different perspective on the industry. I wasn't only involved in my own transactions—I worked in an environment where real estate contracts, negotiations, market conditions, agent development and transaction challenges were part of everyday business.

Today, I bring that experience back to the people I represent.

My Approach to Real Estate

Buying or selling a home is a major financial decision, and I believe clients deserve to understand what is happening throughout the process.

That means communicating.

It means returning phone calls and emails promptly.

It means explaining options rather than simply telling someone what to do.

And it means being transparent—even when the information isn't necessarily what someone hoped to hear.

My goal is to give clients good information, professional guidance and the perspective that comes from nearly two decades in real estate so they can make confident decisions.

Much of my business is focused on helping homeowners successfully position and sell their properties.

That process begins with understanding the property, neighborhood, competing inventory and current buyer behavior.

Sometimes the best decision is to list immediately.

Sometimes it's worth making improvements first.

And sometimes waiting is the better choice.

My role is to help you understand those options and develop a selling strategy around your goals rather than simply putting a sign in the yard.

I also represent buyers throughout Washtenaw County and surrounding communities.

I've lived in Dexter since 2012 and work from Howard Hanna's downtown Dexter office.

Ann Arbor

I'm originally from Ann Arbor and continue to work with buyers and sellers throughout the Ann Arbor market.

Chelsea

My connection to Chelsea includes previously managing Howard Hanna's Chelsea real estate office as well as working in the surrounding western Washtenaw County market.

My broader service area includes Saline, Ypsilanti and communities throughout Washtenaw County, along with nearby Livingston County communities such as Brighton, Pinckney and Hamburg Township.
